looking for a basic helmet cam under £50. What does everyone recommend?

I don't there there is much for that price range to be honest. I bought a cheap one before and it really annoyed me as it was just terrible.

Go for a second hand Drift or Contour camera.

I have a Contour roam 2 which I use mostly for snowboarding but haven't used in the bike yet.

Can't complain about the quality as it's been very good on the snow. Decent battery life and can be turned on and off while wearing gloves.

Main disadvantage is that you need to plug it into a laptop to change any of the settings.

Main advantage is you don't look like a tellytubbie as with the go pro sticking out of the top of your helmet!

Cheers. I did think that suggesting under £50 was being a bit grippy! :-)
