R NineT

Post by haiax0 »

Starting to have a bit of fascination of the R NineT. A dangerous fascination to say the least.

Any one had a go of one or owns one? Im itching to see how it stacks up in the real world.

I would also say (while completely sober) that the R Nine T has also interested me.
I generally don’t like the feel of the panzer air/oil cooled boxer engine when making progress or playing offroad, but that is not what the R Nine T is aimed at.

I believe that B-M-W published the key dimensions to allow people and manufacturers to design their own bling bits.
Respect if they have.

I have not ridden it, I don’t faf about test riding bikes from dealers if I don’t intend to buy, and I don’t know anyone that has one.

It would be good to get feedback some someone that has ridden one.

If you like that then you may want to have a look at the new Bonniviles when they are out. I quite like the Street Twin!

I have heard there is a growing list of non tacky mods out for the r9T, fairly disappointed at the one colour paint approach although not tough to solve if it bothered the masses.

I have looked over the Street Twin, I do indeed like it but not enough to remember it for long unfortunately. I cant say for sure where its lacking exactly in the design but something definitely is, I guess its just a touch bare bones for my liking and seems to be quite a skinny number.

I like my bikes with a bit of junk in all the right places :freebird

Personally not a fan, the only good looking B-M-W's are ones fitted with a side car and a MG34 .... :freebird
