Moto Meccanica ABZ

Post by Martin8949 »

I've noticed that the door has been shut for sometime at Moto Meccanica the Arches. Does anyone know why?

According to a company search the company's details, their sole director left the company at the end of April 2015. Since then they have been operating without a registered company director (legally a Ltd company required at least one registered director).

Their annual return was due in November 2015 at which point I am guessing that Companies House have probably twigged that there was no company director and possibly started looking into the matter.

That date seems to align with the following statement on their Facebook page and there hasn't been much activity on there since then-

That's a shame, used them a few times. The lady was always nice and the mechanic was a good chap too. Had plenty of time for folk.

I have my 916 there and have had no reply on phone numbers. I'm now not sure which way to go. I want my bike back now, not knowing what their situation is!

The registered address for MotoMeccanica is at Grant Smith Law Practice ( http://www.grantsmithlaw.co.uk/find_us/ ... office.htm ).

It might be worth contacting them to see if they have any information. A word with trading standards is also advisable to see if they can affer you any more advice on where you stand in retreiving your bike.

No details but it is no more. There was a post on their facebook page a few days before it was removed.
