North East Rider Volunteers Scotland (NERVS) Receives Donation for New Motorbike

North East Rider Volunteers Scotland (NERVS) is proud to celebrate the unveiling of the latest vehicle to its fleet, following a generous donation of over Β£10,000 from Apache North Sea.

The addition of the Triumph Tiger motorbike will allow NERVS volunteers to increase their transportation of urgent medical samples, equipment and supplies between hospitals, healthcare sites and laboratories in the North East of Scotland.

Established in May 2018, NERVS volunteers have delivered 400 important medical consignments across the Grampian area. As the charitable organisation continues to expand its reach with local NHS partners, the addition of a new motorbike will help to cover the growing number of deliveries.

The Triumph Tiger was supplied by local motorcycle sales and service centre, Shirlaws Ltd. The Triumph Tiger will be unveiled at a naming ceremony to be held at Apache North Sea’s Aberdeen of ce in Kingswells on Friday 19th April 2019.

Jillian Owen, Commercial, Communications and Public Affairs Manager for Apache North Sea, commented, β€œNorth East Rider Volunteers Scotland provides an invaluable service to the Grampian area and Apache is proud to support such a worthwhile cause.”

......and a great addition it is too! A great asset that's seen lots of use so far!
Enjoy my shifts with the Tiger, very easy to ride in town and the open road. :cool
