Almost finished this wee gem.

1979 Yamaha DT175MX. 2K4 model, German spec (hence method of mounting indicators), less than 4000 on the clock

Started with this weather-beaten example-

Just need to free off the clutch plates, set the oil pump, MOT/tax and run over it with the spanners to check all bolts/nuts. Garage stinks of two stroke now!! :freebird

I was given a CBF600 as a hire bike for a couple of weeks after an "incident" with a Datsun Micra. The seating position wierded me out at first but it soon became a hoot to ride. It even embarrassed a Gay Blade on the Slug (pants). :freebird

EDIT: damn auto-correct still makes me giggle. :worthy

The swear filter on this site has some interesting entries. Don't worry about words getting changed seemingly at random.

Hey folks!

Met a dude at the beach the other day on a Z1000 - directed me to your forums, so I'm a new member :)

I did my DAS a couple weeks ago and have nabbed this awesome 2001 Yamaha Thundercat 600R from my uncle for a measly £700! Full MOT with that. It's got 60k on it but it runs perfectly! It'll be getting a new set of tyres and a good service at some point too. Here's a few pics!

This puppy is being put back on the road thanks to a deal found on this very forum.
New S/S lines ordered and quick look over and MOT at a local bike garage and She'll be ready to go.

Something a bit different than my old Big Mans Wanger ...cannae wait :biggrin2

Were you at Knockhill on Monday Christine? I was one of the slaves looking after the white/red R1.
