best method, best sticky goop

Post by ChrisR1 »

well my rear hugger arrived today and it fits pretty damn good with the 2 bolts, but it could be doing with being a firmer fit to the swingarm as there is a little play in it, at the moment i have a cable tie holding the tension on and keeping it bang on, but want something more permanent - what have any of you guys used to keep them in place, mastic or something'?

someone told me firegum is decent?

cheers

Wouldnt use firegume as it goes solid when dry so will probably just crack at some point with the vibrations. I have used Tiger seal to stick on bits of car body kit/bumpers etc before - very sticky stuff - so that is what i would recommend
