I know that this is a bit of a long shot but does anyone have a set of radio removal "keys" to take the sterio our of a Mk6 Fiesta STD???

just need to borrow them for 1 minute to get teh dam serial number of fthe back of the unit as a local body shop disconnected teh battery and managed to Freeze the log in panel.

Is that the pin things or the ones that sort of slide into the side of the head unit?

If you struggle to find any, nip across to taylors on the lang stracht. They helped me remove my stereo out my old astra when the keys were as much use as grated cheese in removing it.

Took them about 20 mins of fighting with it, but they got it and no charge too.

Sure i have both types at home .If you are still stuck tonight i will take them over.
That is if i can remember where you stay I can't believe it's not butter!

We managed to find a solution online which allows you to display the serial number without having to remove the bloody stereo ......

This then allowed us to get the correct number from ford today .

It would have been much better if the had given us the right code to start with when the car was bought new

Good job done.I since found out that there is three diffrent types of tools for removing.
