Help required with wiring!!

Post by Cossackmannie »

Here's the basics-

Chinese Dax that had a Lifan 125 kickstart only engine fitted when I got it.
Motor now goosed so bought a new Lifan 125 big valve electric start motor.
The motor is now fitted with just the wiring to finish.

Here's the problem(s)-

Everything electrical that plugs into the loom is original to the bike (Char Ming/Jingchen)
The original loom was poor so bought new one from OORacing
New Lifan motor's wiring differs in places.
No facility for start button on the right bar so will be fitting a push button on L/H/S of frame

What I would like is for someone with far more electrical knowledge to have a look at it and hopefully sort it. What hasn't helped is the Chinese liking for green wires (earth is green!) and I've reached my limit when wiring the starter solenoid, and most of the wiring in the headlight bowl.

Any help would be appreciated and the genius that sorts this for me will be handsomely rewarded with cakes/pies/beer/spirits/cash/tales of derring-do (delete as applicable)

Cheers

Can anyone recommend a good motorcycle electrical guru? Due to the Dax's small size, It'd be no problem taking it to whoever does the job. :2up
