Are these tyres rubbish in the wet, or am I just being a fanny?

Answer to question 1: Yes, and when it is about +5 deg C and wet, it feels more like being on ice !
I swapped mine for Pilot Road 4's...but as they grip well in all situations, the rear does not last long when you have 160 horses at the control of your right hand.

Answer to question 2 : I don't know you that well, but going by you choice of bike...YES :log

A big difference in opinions.

Tyre performance is affected by pressure, the temperature of the rubber and weight of the rider.

A change in tyre pressures for colder and wet weather could be the difference.

Lower pressures give hotter tyres, but there are other side effects so be careful.

Step it down or up (within reason) in stages and see how they perform.

Could also be power delivery.

I have / had them fitted to my triples, a 675 & a 1050 and Haiax0 is also a 675 Street.

You guys are dealing with significantly more power which may be coming in harder and overwhelming the tyre?

Just an idea....?

I typically run all my bikes 36PSI F & R on the road, most of the time. Though only ran Metezler Z6's on the Falco so far and will happily put another set on.

:stupid

Granted I only had it for a few months but the Rosso Corsa's I had on the Panigale worked really well in the rain.

I got caught out with a set of new Power Supersport Evo's in the rain a couple of weeks ago. It was a bizarre mix of fun and sheer terror. Probably wouldn't recommend it. :log
