engine bogging

Post by blagger »

all of a sudden the bike has intermittent bogging while going along across all the rev range.. the bike will one minute have full power and then bog down and hold back power then back to full power and then bog again etc... it feels like its not firing on all 4 cylinders then starts to fire again on 4.. so far i have tried putting in new spark plugs, took the coils out and tested them on the multi-meter and they all full in the haynes manual ranges.. so any ideas would be great.. cheers

Fuel lines ? inline fuel filter?

Wireing issue? HT leads?

Airfilter clean?

If it is not a coil as in Blagger's other post, the only other thing I could add to this is the air flow sensor (if it has one)

thats the bike running again.. it turned out to be a coil breakdown in the end.. even tho it was still sparking the plug there wasnt enought power in the coil to spark it under load.... cheers everyone for their advice and suggestions :2up
