Yesterday evening I received a PM from asking about the style of riding/speed etc on runs, especially novice runs
I must have reassured the biker as a reply along the lines of “don’t suppose a run tonight is possible?â€
Obviously that nubile did not know me …any excuse for a run …so half an hour later we were riding north/south just outside the city (to keep he sun out of our eyes).
A great run, on many roads I have not been on for years, most without road markings, and lots of twisties.
The run was not so much of a “novice runâ€, more like an introduction to country roads and twisties…great fun, good progress and all well below the posted speed limit.
A big thanks for the opportunity for the run
That is two nights running I have been on impromptu runs from work.
One with a friend on a ZZR1400…who is still whinging about the twisty roads we took …but with a smile on his face
I wonder what my route home tonight will be like
Nice wee run last night…thanks...
