Window tint or wrap

Post by bikerchick »

Does anyone know someone local who would do a homer? Looking to have the windows on a minibus tinted or vinyl wrapped for security purposes but have been quoted over a grand by a local firm to do the job.

You can buy kits on ebay, don't know how good they are but may be an option.

If you are good at DIY /not too fussy about the quality of the application, you can buy the film and DIY.
Impact Signs at Persley sold me some film very cheap. :2up

If all you want is security, you could consider very cheap and cheerful = paint the windows. Windowlene or water based paint on the inside could be removed later if you need to.

I've looked at the DIY option but bit worried it will just be naff if I do it. Paint was a good idea, but we want it to look a little more up market I can't believe it's not butter!, we're setting up a bike transport service, more on that later :P
