You know those “good ideas at the time”

Well one of my latest “good ideas at the time” was to remove my liners from the day-to-day biking textiles.

Oh what a great idea that was…but last night I was thinking it might have been a bit early to remove that layer that keeps the rider a wee bit warmer when riding thru sleet and heavy snow.

That layer is also effective from dampening the pain caused by HUGE lumps of hail hitting you.

oh the fun riding the roads of the best country on our planet :2up :biggrin2

Dug the summer gloves out yesterday. Couldn't feel my thumbs when I got to the office.

What a difference a day makes , summer gloves , dragon jeans and leather jacket only half zipped up .Eating ice cream and admiring the other bikes parked in Banchory .

It is a difficult choice at the moment. With my early starts it is a bit nippy in the morning on the ride to work. But the last couple of days it has been roasting in the afternoon for the ride home.

The advantage of heated kit is that you don't have to layer up so much. Switch the heat up in the morning and leave it switched off in the afternoon.
