If you are in Scotland, that is a very foolish thing to do…like for at least 360 days of any year, unless you are in the carSnoop wrote:Darn I dont have my water proofs with me too, grrr

Big single supermotards are the business in the wet. Based upon the Scottish weather, everyone should have one. Supersports are a waste of time.

Don't you just love ............. watchin a biker making a tit of himself while trying to look all cool an flash on his 11 plate Arr Waan ,
Myself an a mate from my work were just following this guy goin over Anderson drive an the way he was riding his bike was comical , we were particularly curious why whilst slowing for roundabouts an traffic lights he insisted on dragging his nasty looking right Sidi boot along the ground for 100 yards before the junctions
The no handed manoeuvre whilst tailgating a car that was slowing for a roundabout wasn't the cleverest thing I've seen folks do on a bike

Re: Don’t you just love...
Don't you just love...waking up to a nice sunny morning with just the right amount of cloud cover to take the edge off the low blinding sun, no wind, taking the naked bike, dry roads, getting the revs/corners just right, accelerating using one or two or six thousand rev's more than is strictly necessary to overtake (why...because you can )
There is no better way to start the day then with a good ride

Remembering to put yer shades on even tho it isn't too bright out then the sun comes thru the clouds.
Saving half an hour on the daily commute not sitting in traffic and most people getting out of the way for you to do so (cept the bell-end in the volvo that looked right at me in the mirror and hugged the white line till I squeezed up beside his wondow and looked at him )

Filtering up the middle of barely moving traffic on the dualer and seeing the twonk (2 of this morning) in the new Audi looking at you in the mirror and moving to hug the centre lane so you can't get passed only to nip round the outside of them and watch the smug look get wiped off their faces

Like it, i usually find they haven't got a clue how big the car is anyway so you can still get beside them slowly then stop level with the drivers window and say "hello". You can usually see them sliding down in their seat.CBRXX wrote:Filtering up the middle of barely moving traffic on the dualer and seeing the twonk (2 of this morning) in the new Audi looking at you in the mirror and moving to hug the centre lane so you can't get passed only to nip round the outside of them and watch the smug look get wiped off their faces

Getting a letter from the insurers of the driver who pulled across the A90 in front of you resulting in a dropped bike admitting responsibility

Being the first vehicle behind the snow plough heading to the ski field, then stopping when the plough driver waives his hand, while sitting at the front of a dozen or so long queue waiting for the plough to return thru a very bad stretch...only to see an Audi saloon car overtake everyone and getting stuck in the snow, then after a bit of manoeuvring seeing the same Audi reversing out of the snow, still in reverse returning past all the cars it recently overtook...with the snow plough 50 meters in front giving the thumbs for me to continue to the Lecht

Don’t you just love...
Taking the Mrs. to look at a car (nothing to do with needing a lift to get there or anything) that she knows nothing about, and her first reaction was..."oh, its got a snorkel, we really need a car with one of those"
So I bought it
But now thinking about it, I am unsure how sincere her initial comment was

switching off traction control to get thru some deep snow, and having the rear end hanging out for a hundred meters or so while the dial is reading 55 mph...forward speed probably about 10 mph
