Tabs
Hiya,
Two of my tabs at the top of my page are blank and seem to have been this way for a while. I've got 'Portal Index', 'Board index', 'Logout' and 'View new posts'. The middle two are missing.....
Is it my computer or the forum?

Mine are like that at home but fine at work? Must be some add-on, sure someone will be along soon to advise (Big Kneed Al (master of the emergency stop & "stand up" comedian)?)

Re: Tabs
The site displays best in Firefox.
Most companies will use IE as their main browser so you'll no doubt have a few issues when surfing from work.
Best bet is to download Firefox for your home pissy & reek the benefits of a fully functioning site!

Re: Tabs
I found that when I used Internet Explorer that some tabs didn't show up, switched to Chrome a long time ago now and all the tabs are visible. Admins on here will tell you to use Firefox but I prefer Chrome

Re: Tabs
Go to the Portable Apps site ( http://portableapps.com/ ) and install Firefox on your USB Key/personal drive/ etc. It will then run from that location without having to be installed on your work pissy and the good thing there is that all your bookmarks, favorites etc. will all be saved to your copy of Firefox.

Good call. I have Firefox at home and have had to stick with IE at work which is most frustrating.Big Kneed Al (master of the emergency stop & "stand up" comedian) wrote:Go to the Portable Apps site ( http://portableapps.com/ ) and install Firefox on your USB Key/personal drive/ etc. It will then run from that location without having to be installed on your work pissy and the good thing there is that all your bookmarks, favorites etc. will all be saved to your copy of Firefox.
