I bought some two-way radio's at the weekend for the bike so I can talk to pillion also when son gets his own bike. Unfortunatly the road noise/wind is opening the mikes on vox,I have tried messing with the settings. Does any one know where I can pickup a boom mike with foam which should help. I don't want to spend another £40 at the shop beside a big roundabout, the set was only £30. The sets are Binatone.

I understand that VOX is quite hard to work with unless it is set up absolutly right (the comms that me and the wife have are PTT)

Try having a look around some other bike forums - there are some guys out there who have alot of knowledge on such things
