Doesn't say one thing or other about bike friendly or not, but seems to pick out all the little guest houses as well as the hotels. Just as long as you know where you are going in the first place.

Cheers Pharis, i found a few websites i can use for accommodation but there's too many to trawl through hoping for a goodun, really just looking for personal recommendations if you have any.
Hotels in a nice location with nice people and a bar/pool table is what I'm hoping to find and if you can remember the cost even better

Triumph club did an island hop island to island along the West Coast. As all (or rather most) of the ferries are owner by one company you can get a rover ticket.

the lochness logcabins are great just out side inverness pub just down rd great food .and plenty of great rds around .and cheep to only 50 a night and sleeps 6 .cheeck it out on the net lochness logcabins.co.uk .

Anyone tried the HOSTEL on Main Street, Kingussie? !0 miles approx
south of Aviemore.
Prices are VERY reasonable and have two or four bunks to
the room.

Thanks for that Garymitch. I've used that road/s many times over the years en route to Fort William from the east coast. My job entailed travelling all over Scotland. Very handy for knowing the area.
