......happenings.

Any of you computer Ghurus got ideas why IE crashes when I try to access Roy's post re Kartstart?
I have tried the usual, deleting i.e. temp files and cookies.

Try this instead - http://uk2.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi? ... 000&icon=x

If you can remember where the old Broadfold Garage was ( it's now an AutoSave I believe ) you turn into the car park there, go over a couple of speed bumps then head round the back of Laws Tyres. The entrance is about 3/4's of the way along the back of the building ( it may be preffy dark unless they have fixed up new lights ). Just go in the door and up the stairs, through another door and you will be at the reception/viewing gallery.

Just that post?

You could try running IE without add-ins. That would determine if it's IE at fault or a faulty add-in.

Run IE from Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools->Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

If it's crashing as in freezing then try the steps above but if it merely cannot display the page then just copy the address then paste into a new tab/window and press go, it should kick back into life :2up

I'm a self-confessed comp geek and I would rather use IE7 to Firefox... Firefox is so lame you can't even move the damn toolbars! :P IE7 is a big step up from IE6 (which was, admittedly, not as good as Firefox).

However, I use Maxthon in preference to either... not because it's better, just because I'm used to it.

IE7 gets my vote. A big improvement over IE6 and more intuitive than Firefox to my simple brain :oops

IE7 is good with the whole opening new tabs in the same window and the movable toolbars but im used to mozilla now so for the meantime at least i'll be sticking to it!
Also it gives me the gratitude of not giving more money to Mr gates as i have already got at least 40 of his products not including software :oops

Thanks for all your advice guys. It is most peculliar, when I try to open that post IE shuts down. I really can't think of anything which would make it crsh with a particular post. I have tried closing all my add ons, like pop up blocked, start up guard, zone alarm and Avg but it still crashes. Ah well, no big deal, just a minor irritation.

Big Kneed Al (master of the emergency stop & "stand up" comedian), Thanks for the map link.
