Is there a burger van at the track?

There is a Cafe but it will be closed on Sunday so if your coming bring your sarnies. Either that or Crail is only 5min away.

20-30. Should be A's and B's so at least 6 races. Weathers looking ok for Sun as well so might be running dirt.

Most likely races starting about 12.

Well that was good finish to the season. We ran both dirt sections for the first time and I was loosing so much time as I was to tentative.
Qualified 5th in the B's with about 5 folk covered by 0.5sec.

First race I got a decent star but dropped back and finished 5th. Still a bit crap in the dirt.

Second race I got a good start and was lying 2nd for the first two laps when my mate Dave came of right in front of me and was squealing in agony so I know something had happened. Red flag and turned out he had dislocated his knee. Restart I was in 2nd again and right behind the leader for about 8 laps. I figured out the dirt section and felt happy so i put in a hard but fair move and got past. Completed the last two laps for my first win :cheers .

Third race I started and got into 3rd but the front two pulled away however I was far enough ahead of the next guy so I settled for third.

Weather was amazing and best round of the year, just a pity thats it till next March.
Cheers also to Dave for coming down. Good to see some Aberdeenbikers making the effort.

Yes staying with the auld Katoom. Just bought a slipper clutch and forks were just rebuilt plus Ive got a new piston etc to go in so it should be ok for next season.
I need to practice dirt riding this winter to make any progress.

Nice day at the supermoto’s. :2up
I want one!!!!!!

And what a man Graeme Coull is, he is a star, hee hee, get it, coullstar, hee, hee, hee. :log :log

:worthy He only went and came first on one of his races. :worthy
Mind you, from a distance it did look like he tripped up the bloke in front of him, but he didn’t, the previous leader managed to trip himself up.

Well done, and thanks for an entertaining day.

Ps
I hope the lads that took a tumble are ok.

What about tyre wear?

How many races do you get out of the rear tyre?

And how many years do you get out of the front one? (going by the time spent wheeling by some).

There actually not that bad on tyre wear. I used a rear medium Dunlop slick for about half the year. Fronts are about the same.

Wets are ok but soon get chewed up. Probably budget for at least two sets of slicks a year + a set of wets, possibly two. Thats about £600 straight away.
