I assume you are looking at the big Varadero :confused

A few years ago I looked into get a big ‘adventure bike’, tried most but the big KTM instantly put a smile on my face, and still does.

I like the idea of the big Honda...but it did not do it for me.

The funny thing is I have thought about the small Varadero a few times, for use in the winter when power sometimes is not a good thing, it has good ground clearance, big range etc, slap some lumpy rubber on it and it should be a great winter machine...but I just can’t do it.

I fear that nothing will replace the Busa

Tips...
Ride the Varadero, take it over some road you know.
If you like it, get it...sorted

Have you thought about the new Honda Crossrunner :confused

Good points...Honda have a local dealer.

I've had a few big traillies, the vara is best by far,

dont believe the hype re BM's,

vstrom, dont even think about it (the worst bike I ever owned)

Caponord, read the forum, I had a good one but it appears it was one of very few

early ones (5 speed) best build quality but a bit thirsty, rear shock goes soft on them, givi +50mm screen, sit at 90 with your visor up, eyelids fluttering in the breeze :2up

You can not think of replacing a Hayabusa with a Varadero. Try considering the Tiger 1050 it was for me a great second bike to the Busa. For me the only bike worth replacing the Busa for is another Busa .Oh i so wish i did not have to get rid of mine i miss it so much :( :cry2

Christine says you need to see a Shrink when i told her about this thread. :log

I'm embarrased to say I bought one for a commuter to go alongside the Blackbird, it is so ugly its spent most of the 6 months of ownership in the garage hanging its head in shame, took it out the other week with the luggage on to get the shoppin with the missus, apart from a run to Ireland on the BB I've been using it ever since, don't let the high pegs fool you you'll soon be grinding them with a bike stupid grin on yer dial :log
