Re: AberdeenBikers Rides
Hardest thing I have had to do all year was roll the striple into the dealers van when exchanged.. I would have a another one again in a heartbeat...but it was time to let this one go an open up some one else eyes on what a fun bike really is!
Still settling back into the groove of the VFR but big thumbs up and gins so far! Very different ride though!

Any ride is better than no ride, and often the more 'different' the betterhaiax0 wrote: ... Very different ride though!

Id love an old r80rt to do up one day. Current accommodation situation wont allow for much tinkering spaceYeah but you've done it properly, the K75 was built in the days when they made bulletproof motors.

Re: AberdeenBikers Rides
Cheers - did over 100 miles today on it, think I am getting the hang of it! there is a bit of a vibration at around 4k rpm but apparently this is an issue they have other than that it's very smooth. Trying to resist the temptation of opening up the throttle is hard after being on a slow 125 for so long but think it will take me a wee while to get properly comfortable on it

Of course
need to sort the gear lever it is in the wrong position, awkward to downshift I can't believe it's not butter!. Didn't bother me so much on the weekend as I was out on A roads and dual carriageway. Rush hour traffic is not so good :)

Re: AberdeenBikers Rides
Long overdue a test ride on one - might have to have a sniff about Ecosse and take one for a spin.
