It might have been the Grampian Motorcycle Club as their website mentions that they have a run every Wednesday evening during the summer months ( http://www.grampianmotorcycleclub.co.uk ).

ah, that makes sense, couple of old 851/888 ducatis, a few lads were in high vis and a collection of others so it probably was them.

I spotted one of those older Ducati's heading towards Kingswells just after 6 when I was heading out to Elrik so it all seems to tie up.

Hi thanks for call my bike an old Ducati, prefer classic :nono . It was a Grampian Mcc run. 1st time I've used the Ducati on one of their runs and amother 888 sp5 , must be only around 30 in UK on the road. Was a good run out

Apologies, just a general term...my vfr is old (99). Only the briefest of glimpses but looked very nice and sounded better :freebird

A Ducati 888 passes me some mornings in BOD on the way into work.
