topics that have no posts

Can anyone tell me why some posts say "this topic has no posts" when i've looked at some and they have had and the index is saying they have. Where have the posts gone or/and why would they have been removed.

I think it's to do with the database problem a few weeks ago.

If there's more than one page, try an earlier page. Some of the topics only lost a portion of the posts.
