Due to unforseen development problems with his new LCR Honda and lack of track time, due to bad weather. Dougie Wright will ride his father's, Eddy Wright's Honda Shelbourne in the sidecar races at the 2008 TT. Eddy, who was to race has withdrawn his entry, will now concentrate on managing Doug and looking after the bike.
It is felt that Doug will feel more at home on the familiar Shelbourne which is identical to the machine Doug rode so successfully on his TT debut in 2007. After the TT things will change back to normal; Doug will ride the LCR and Eddy will be reunited with his trusty Shelbourne.

sorry to hear of your not so good start to the season an sorry to hear about Eds withdrawal , all the very best to Doug tho , heres hopin he gets a top 15 finish eh
