Head cleaning

I've just acquired a 2nd hand cylinder head for the Z750. I'd like to get it spotless before painting and fitting it and was wondering what the best method of cleaning would be. Cleaning the existing motor before it was painted and fitted was easy because it was effectively a sealed unit.
Cleaning and decoking the new head has me a bit concerned due to the mating faces for the barrels and rocker cover being exposed.
1- What would be the best method of cleaning?
2- Is there someone local that's reliable that could do the job?
3- Roughly how much would this service cost?

Cheers all

Ian

Get it beadblasted with fine glass beads or vapour blasted.
None of those options will damage any of the mating surfaces but will leave the head spotless.
Bound to be a few companies who can do this in Aberdeen, but unfortunetely i don't know of any.
Probably cost about £2o to £30 i would think. (based on what my business partner would charge, but were up in Shetland so not really convienient for you)
