What's hot and what's not?

More importantly, what's cheap?

I really rate the pirelli angels . Good feedback ( both in the dry and the wet) and they last well even on the Mille

Always liked Diablo Stradas and Z6s, so maybe those would be a good choice. I liked the longevity of the Pilot Road 2s, but found them very sensitive to pressure.

BT 021s are tops. I'm guessing the 023 is the latest generation.

Hard wearing for boring motorway jaunts and grippy as heck for the twisty stuff.
Used BT021s on the europe trip, 4k miles in all types of weather / roads / conditions and there was still life in em when we got back :worthy

Pirelli Road angels, i must admit are the best tyres i have had on the Blackbird, i have tried them all and for confident riding in the wet/dry and durability they are the best i have come across, i have used 5 sets now and will continue to use them till something better comes along. :2up

I enjoyed the Dunlops on my old Superduke, noticed no difference from the "sports" tyres. Just fitted a rear Angel to my new one.

Pirelli Angels. Very good in the wet and good enough in the dry and they last well, even 2 up on the XJR. :2up

yep Pirelli Angels had them on a Daytona 675 after getting a nail in the OE rear tyre which I really didn't trust in the wet anyway :2up

bt023's are superb. Just scrubbed in a set and I am very impressed. I have them on my YZFR6 and changed the front from a 60 to 70 and its has made a huge difference to the front end.

I changed from 2ct's to bt023 and was sceptical, but the bt023s are just as good if not better.

old thread revival

Got BT-023's fitted to the gixxer last month as the sporty compound BT's I had before just didn't last long enough.

I haven't noticed any decrease in grip and am expecting them to last a lot longer :2up

may give these a bash when Suzi needs some new shoes.
