Welder in aberdeen
Hey folks, i need to weld the comedy exaust fitted to my 98 1200 bandit.
but first i need to remove one extremely stubborn downpipe bolt......
so, any places that would be happy to weld a bolt onto the stuck one, then weld up the collector with stainless?
(or has anyone got a TIG, MIG or stick set so i can get the bolt out? it would take about 9 seconds...)
Cheers

That'll be aftersale revenue. No wonder it's called a Bandit.Big Kneed Al (master of the emergency stop & "stand up" comedian) (Super Nanny) wrote:Greeting to a fellow Bandit owner.
Don't know what was going through Suzuki's mind when they decided to make a stinless steel exhaust system then stick a mild steel collector box on it!?!?

its a brilliant idea.... so far its allowed me to justify a decent drill, a grinder, various chisels and other tools (while complaining about the bad design)
(RANT ALERT!!!)
another thing that they should be shot for is the corrosion friendly allen headed bolts which hold on the comedy exaust!
And why the hell couldent they put drain holes in the forks so i could change the oil without a total removal?
and what were they thinking with that shock??????? i'd happily pay more to get real suspension!
apart from that its allright.
ahhhh thats better.

Same thought went trough Mr Honda, Mr Kawasaki and Mr Yamaha.. Makes you wonder sometimes. Infact, Mr Kawasaki owns the biggest steel company in the world...no wonder..I can't believe it's not butter!...most of it goes into making swiss cheese down pipes! Thats the way to do it i guess..create your own market :I can't believe it's not butter!

Well Big Kneed Al (master of the emergency stop & "stand up" comedian), I told you you ought to have bought my SP1 when u had the chance = NO cam chain tensioner and only one "careful" owner.
Since you ask it does rain sumtimes.......... but I can't remeber when
Was out for a blast yesterday. The sun was shining although it was a bit cold,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, only 22 degrees.
Misus had been to the market and bought two killos of fresh strawberries for 5 euros. Sitting by the pool drinking wine eating strawberries and cream, beats pie n chips in Banchory.

Andrew is really coming on now. There's no mistaking that he's Johns son ( apart from the goatee and the beer belly ..... oh and that he's a handsome young lad as well )
