This years predictions.

Post by good2bebad »

So happy that marc won but I think we will see Lorenzo take it this year,if he puts in what he had at the later part of 2013.(when his bike got those much needed upgrades.) any thoughts on Danny ? Carl ? Rossi ?
Looking forward to see how Scott gets on in the premier class.
Any thoughts ???

1. Marquez.
2. Lorenzo. (Will sign for Honda at Brno round).
3. Pedrosa. (Will join Suzuki).
4. Rossi. (Will retire if he finishes season 4th).

8. Crutchlow (At best).

Smith will battle with the 2 Factory Ducatis and Redding just needs to get a good season and beat Hayden in a few of the races.
Would like Paul Birds team to improve.

I tend to agree with those positions. I think Marquez will only improve (as did Lorenzo) with more time on the bike. Lorenzo will make it a hard fight though.

Scott Redding will have his work cut out as unfortunately he's on the Honda Production racer provided by provided by Gresini (unlike his teammate Bautista who gets the factory version :( ). The bike is really struggling with power and recent testing in Sepang saw him 3.3 secs down on Marquez and 1.3 secs down on Hayden. One thing a big lad doesn't need is to be short on power, but I still think he can beat Nicky as he's a much better rider.

Marquez is human after all eh!.... a wee fall and a break,... doubt it will slow him,...but do wonder if his luck will last with any spills this year,.... don't get me wrong, I wish no ill on him, last season was great but do agree/hope Lorenzo will push him hard.
Pedrosa to be the bridesmaid again!
Crutchlow to finish races and inside the top 10 :???
