Crail - 16th & 17th April

Post by Feckdeamon »

Been to Crail yesterday and today for my first introduction to supermoto. What a blast! I need one, and I'll be going back for plenty more.

If you fancy trackdays this is quite possibly the cheapest way to do it. YZF250 for less than £2k; or less than £5k for a well tricked out ex-race bike.

Then £130 membership of the club which runs the track at Crail gives you access to use it from 10am - 8pm ANY DAY YOU LIKE!!! Yes, weekdays too!! Might have to share with karts occasionally; but most of the time it's quiet apparently.

Then if you fancy racing the entry fee today was £30. Three races for supermotos, three for pit bikes, plenty banter and a really good bunch of guys.

Few photos from the weekend: https://www.facebook.com/DLMacLean/medi ... nref=story

Away to nurse my slightly sunburnt nose now...

Supermoto, also a great spectator sport if you are not competing

Feckfeamom, feel free post up the supermoto race dates and any link on:

Even better is you can use the same format as the other items on that thread, makes life a bit easier for me to cut/paste into the original post :2up
